King is a 12 year old Belgian gelding. He began working as a police mount for the St. Paul Mounted Unit in 2004. King is often ridden by the part-time riders. King has a quiet temperament and is the dominant leader in the herd.

Jett is a 14 year old Appendix Quarter-Horse. He began his police career with the Houston, Texas Mounted Unit and came to St. Paul in 2006. Jett is assigned to Officer Alta Painter. Jett loves mints.

Black Jack (BJ) is a 15 year old mixed Arabian/Morgan/Holsteiner Gelding. He began working for the St. Paul Mounted Unit in 2001. BJ is assigned to Officer Catherine McGuire. BJ is always alert.
